Regent alumna and current research librarian Dr. Cindy Aalders has published a peer-reviewed article in The Journal of Religious History: “‘Your Journal, My Love’: Constructing Personal and Religious Bonds in Eighteenth-Century Women’s Diaries.” It comes out of work she did for her Oxford DPhil thesis, which she is revising for publication with Oxford University Press. The article and research are breaking new ground in understanding women’s religious experience and transcending some stereotypes of public and private life.
