Ross Douthat is a regular op-ed contributor for The New York Times, a conservative Catholic, and the author of the best-selling book Bad Religion: How We Became a Nation of Heretics. In 2014, he was the guest speaker for Regent College's Laing Lectures, providing cultural critique of our decadence, but also a caution against apocalyptic thinking, in a series called "Settling in to a Decadent Decline."
